Virginia Restaurant Owner Quickly Takes Control of The Robber’s Gun

woman-grabs-gun-02

This brave and skillful Chinese store owner seems to know what she was doing. The bad guy was already up next to her with his drawn gun. Question, would you draw your gun on an already drawn gun? That’s probably not a good idea. There are few ways you can distract the bad guy to gain distance before you draw your gun and shoot, but what she did worked out great for her. Center of Face More Important Than Center Mass

Like it or not, we are at war with lone wolf terrorist that are rising at an alarming rate. In the past two years we seen a rise of lone wolf gunman jihadist in France and the US. These death loving barbarians recently added an additional weapon, a vehicle in to the mix of their weapons of choice.

The New Paradigm

bodyarmor

Typical Kevlar body armor.

When you got a terrorist gunman out in the loose, you must assume that he is wearing body armor or a bomb vest. Recall the Aurora, Colorado shooter? He was wearing tactical gear, a ballistic helmet and a vest.
The Orlando terrorist Omar Mateen tried to buy bulk ammunition and heavy-duty body armor from a gun shop. Armor plates are design to defeat most rifle caliber with some exceptions. Even jihadist wearing kevlar (assuming is rated quality and in new condition) will stop all common handgun rounds. Concealed carries carry handguns, not rifles, that tells us we definitely need to aim for the ocular window, side of the head and neck to stop the threat from racking up more body counts.

In an FBI study on Active Shooter events (up to 2012) showed that in 5% of events, the terrorists brought crude bomb vests. It’s very common for terrorist overseas to use bomb vest. What stops them from making home made explosive devices and using it here in the US? Continue reading “Center of Face More Important Than Center Mass” »

The “Feel” Good Legislation – Escape Vehicle Ban of 2016

pickup

With the recent mass killings and only a “small” rise of vehicles being used as a weapon, the media, law makers and the public always say we have to do something about the tool that was used. Hardly blaming the person/s. While simultaneously intending to do nothing more vigorously than posting an emotionally charged status on the news and social media.

The usual routine actions that legislators will perform based on the general fear, vague and use the widespread unease to signed another so called “feel-good” piece of legislation that does nothing more to prevent the problem that it supposed to prevent but only hinder law abiding citizens from going about their daily lives. More and More Dry Firing Is Key To Developing Your Skills – Video

dry-fire

You should first take extra safety measures before you start your dry firing drill. The following safety precautions are;

  • No live ammunition in the room or area you are going to be dry firing. Meaning no ammo in magazines, or laying around anywhere within visibility and reach.
  • Make sure your gun is unloaded, double and triple check. You can have magazines in your pistol if you use snap caps or dummy rounds. Make sure there are NO live ammo in the magazines or laying around. Check thoroughly that those are indeed dummy rounds.
  • Pick a designated safe dry firing area of your house. Every time you dry fire, be aware of your muzzle direction to make sure it’s always pointed at the same common spot where you know (God forbid, you somehow missed one of your safety steps) if your gun discharges, no one will get hurt in that direction.
  • Don’t change your approach. Dry firing is only useful if you approach these practice shots the same way you would a “live” firearm. This means using the same motions, stance, grip and distance. This includes only pointing at your intended target, being certain of your target and keeping your finger off the trigger until you have made the decision to fire.

Terrorist Weapon Is a Truck Hence The Importance Of Barrier Blind Loads

barrier-blind

When guns are banned, terrorist find other weapons to kill scores of people. In this case they picked a few tons projectile moving between 25-45 mile an hour. Thus having more kinetic energy and does a greater deal of damage than the scary .223 that comes from the “black weapon of mass destruction” the liberals love to called.

My sympathy and condolences goes out to the family of those victims in Nice, France who were brutally murder tonight by an unforgivable sadist fanatic muslim terrorist who ran his truck over dozens of people. As of right now, 80 people confirm dead.

If it happen here in the states and you are a concealed carrier, what would you do when you see a trucking approaching you while running people over? The best option is to move perpendicular and out of the way (as fast as you can) to avoid the on coming vehicle. Don’t try to run away since you won’t be able to out run a car or truck. Move to a narrow spot behind heavy hard objects such as a large rectangular cement plant pots, up the sidewalk and in to stores or small alleys between building for cover. Being aware of your surroundings is critical which can buy you more time in finding your best solid cover spots. Jumping out of harms way and as the vehicle goes by you with that brief opportunity to draw and fire your gun at the front side door of the truck hoping to hit and disrupt the driver. Shots fire and bullets striking will definitely make it harder for the terrorist driver maintain control of his truck. Take The Terrorist Gun? – From The First Respondents Perspective

nirobi-terror

It’s the go-to idea that if you are able take down the terror gunman with your handgun from an obscure vantage point, or you in an unarmed group ambushes the attacker with bear hands neutralizing him, why not take his gun and shoot him, then move on to go after the next gunman? Maybe the law enforcement first responders are not on scene yet and you could have save move lives with that long gun and a fair fight with the terrorist. But what happens when the SWAT CT team sees you with the rifle during the height of the horrific chaotic scene?
Remember that is not your job to play police and chase down the assailant. You use your gun if you’re in imminent danger such as if the terrorist is within range, firing rounds at him will definitely disrupt and bring the body count down. You might also risk getting shot back.
If the terrorists are not within close proximity, it’s probably safe to find your best escape route and get the hell out ASAP!

It appears to be two armed civilians directing people to safety during the Nairobi mall terror attack.

Gabe Suarez takes a look from the LEO first responder’s perspective and how it might not go so well for you after the moment you take that dead beard mujahideen’s AK-47.

Pro Gun Grassroots Calls On The NRA To Stop Supporting No Due Process & Gun Free Zones

dueprocesses

There are times when the NRA needs to be reminded and slap back to the right. They should do what is right by supporting our country’s constitution as a whole.
With the recent terrorist shootings, NRA-ILA leadership has offer support for legislation that defies what America was founded on. NRA wants to back lawmakers in congress who are in support of an epic failure and dangerous to law abiding citizens, the no-fly list system.

A lawyer who helps people get off the terror watch list, said that this list is useless.

Taken from ammoland.com

We urge the NRA-ILA to work towards enhancing concealed carry reciprocity, among the states, and eliminating so-called “gun free zones”.

  • These so-called “gun free zones” kill people. They are exactly what terrorists want; a target-rich environment with no one who can mount an effective defense.
  • In 34 states it is legal to carry firearms into establishments that serve alcohol, and this has not proven to be a problem.
  • An overwhelming majority of mass killings in America occur in so-called gun free zones.
  • Secret government lists have been the hallmark of tyrannical, murderous governments throughout history.

With Smith & Wesson’s long five star track record for it’s subcompacts, they made a new member for the M&P Shield line. To bad Glock was late in to the single stack subcompact class.
I’ve been carrying the Shield in 9mm for 3 years and I love how accurate it shoots, recoil feel, reliability, grip and concealed carrying.

Helpful hints To Drivers When Carrying Concealed & Interacting With LEOs

pulled-over

Loudoun County Sheriff in Virginia puts up some really useful tips on their Facebook page for drivers interacting with the police when pulled over. Most all Loudoun county cops are pro gun and also very open carry friendly based on my experience and many people I know in the area. This is a general guideline, most states don’t have duty to inform.

LCSO provides helpful hints to drivers when carrying concealed handguns.

Tip #1: Know your local and state laws Continue reading “Helpful hints To Drivers When Carrying Concealed & Interacting With LEOs” »
