Is it really called gun “buyback”? Exploring the definition of buyback and its pitfalls

There are many articles and posts out on the internet that dives in to the foolishness of such anti self-defense and anti Second Amendment propaganda programs for the fools who are willing to hand in their alienable rights to Big Daddy for a false sense of security and funds. This article will focus on one small aspect which is the definition of buyback and a summery of this anti-gun tactic.

What is the word buyback?
Taken from the dictionary (dictionary.com and dictionary.cambridge.org) noun
1) The buying of something that one previously sold.
2) Any arrangement to take back something as a condition of a sale, as by a supplier who agrees to purchase its customer’s goods.

Fashion Mall Shooting Incident in Murray, UT

A summery of my take on the Fashion Place Mall shooting incident and what should a trained concealed carrier do if one were near or around where a similar incident.
I prefer to wait 24 to 48 hours before saying anything and making any comments after a larger scale shooting incident. This morning, more information is out, which agrees with my theory based on the initial information I received from one of my local news outlet, KSL LIVE: Continuing coverage on the shooting at Fashion Place Mall in Murray on Sunday afternoon.

KSL news article on the afternoon of the shooting Police hunting for 3 suspects after shooting sparks ‘panic’ at Fashion Place mall in Utah

Sunday around 3:30 pm local time, I was having brunch at a restaurant in South Jordan which is about 15-20 minutes drive from where I was at to the mall. While eating, I saw my local news feeds live stream on FB that a “shooting” at the Fashion Place Mall in Murray. It resulted in two people being injured. Wow it’s a shooting, the media make it look big, like always. Then an hour later, I saw the video along with photos of people being escorted in a line with their hands up (typical escorted evacuate setup we seen in many school and other shootings that occurred indoors)  out of the mall. Local LEO and SWAT members were all around with their AR-15 carbines. Local media reported that there were three suspects (shooters?) that fled the area and are at “large.” Continue reading “Fashion Mall Shooting Incident in Murray, UT” »

Net Neutrality – What It Is And What They Are Not Telling You

Many folks got fooled in to believing that the current net neutrality is a good concept. You are wrong because you don’t know the ins and out.
Being working and involve in the Network IT related field does help shine the light on this topic.

Big companies want government to regulate internet content and bandwidth in their favor. Eventually there will be rules put in place by the government where you are free utilized “all” content except A, B, and D. This defeats the purpose of freedom and neutrality right?
Big communication and content providers lobbied and feed money into the hands of bureaucrats and politicians who were behind net neutrality during the Obama era in 2015. That’s why they push for net neutrality propaganda (with the help of the lying and bias infamous mainstream media) and convinced a lot of millennials to support this communist-style digital information control. Now they are all flipping and calling it dooms day lol. Continue reading “Net Neutrality – What It Is And What They Are Not Telling You” »

Green Ops – Defensive Carbine I AAR

This is my second review for Green Ops. It’s also my second class I attended with them. This after action feedback and review will be about the rifle class taught by the team. Being mainly a pistol person for four and a half years, I’m starting to venture on to learning how to use a rifle correctly, effectively and efficiently. In particular the AR platform. Most all civilians in the United States who carry a firearm daily for self protection carry a pistol. It’s imperative that we spend more time and money to train and practice on the tool we carry daily. On the other hand, many of us also own the most popular rifle in American known as the AR-15. AR doesn’t stand for Assault Rifle, it stands for ArmaLite after the company that developed it in the 1950s. The AR-15 rifle platform is very versatile, you can use it for hunting, target shooting or self defense. Whether you already own one or plan on acquiring one, you should know how to effectively and safely use this rifle. You probably don’t use it or carry it everyday with you but it’s good to know how-to when needed. For this class, students are not limited to just bringing an AR-15, there was one student who brought a Tavor 🙄 😀 . 2017 Virginia Legislation Wrap Up – Gun Bills

We started the year by attending Lobby Day to attending each pro and anti gun bills in the GA sessions to writing emails and calling ours legislators about the bills we support or opposed. We are almost at the end of the road for the 2017 legislation. Good news is all anti-gun bills were buried this year and several good gun bills got sign in to law by our governor who is a man of his party’s agenda. He did vetoed couple of good life saving gun bills such as, HB 1582, Campbell, military 18 and older can apply for a CHP and SB 1299 by Vogel, protective orders become CHPs. Ironically the Democrats talk so much about protecting women and children but only if it politically concerns their interest.  We tried to override several good bills that were vetoed but failed yesterday.
I was watching the feeds yesterday from Philip Van Cleave, the president of the Virginia Citizens Defense League who was at the General Assembly watching the whole showdown.
Snippets taken from Philip’s Facrbook posting. Continue reading “2017 Virginia Legislation Wrap Up – Gun Bills” »
