ABC’s TV Show Designated Survivor Pushes The Anti-Gun Agenda (Video)

Been watching Designated Survivor since the beginning. Within the first 5 episodes I already noticed it is somewhat of a left wing show that tries to slowly push their agenda every now and then. For those who watch the show would know what I’ll be talking about. They presented a political left tone when it comes to the environment and Muslim immigration few episodes ago. Back in September, American Thinker also pointed out this TV show’s tone and possible goals, “Designated Survivor: Should it be designated as Democrat propaganda?I looked the other way from their political view and focus on the fun part (main story line) which is finding out who and how deep the conspiracy goes that killed the President, Vice President, Speaker down to most of congress since the catastrophic attack of the Capital building occurred during the State of the Union.
But with season one episode fifteen that aired yesterday was the bombshell, their anti gun lying agenda forced me to write this article and expose their goals.

Below is a video that I put together containing two major clips taken from last night’s episode.

The talking sounded like Tim Kaine, Hillary Clinton or Obama that were speaking right through the actor and actress mouths. As usual they failed to point out that people who commit most gun violence would be smart enough to not go through background checks and just steal the guns or buy it through the black market.
Actor Kiefer Sutherland here said that people on the terror watch list should not have guns. What gives the government the power to strip your rights when you haven’t been convicted? Ever heard of due process? It’s ridiculous that they only fish after your Second Amendment right and not others. Remember the video where we saw Trey Growdy grilled that DHS female official about the idea that American citizens on the terrorist watchlist should be denied the right to own a gun? Boy that was one factual bombshell that shut her.
They also failed to mention that many of those who committed gun violence and mass shootings in the past passed a background check. Last but not least, they failed to mention that states and cities where no private sales are legal and mandatory background checks have the highest gun crime per capita such as DC, Baltimore and Chicago.

If you don’t watch this show you might not care but many people of all ages who are uninformed about this topic might buy in to their deceptive narrative. But in the end, what else can you expect from anti gun Hollywood?

On the other hand, I’m a big fan of the walking dead and it happens to be more of a pro gun show.

What To Do When Your Doctor Asks About Your Guns

Doctors and gun controlIt’s seems to be a more frequent occurring that we hear people bringing up conversations about their physician having them fill out a questionnaire in regards to their health care plan asking about guns which has nothing to do with the subject whatsoever. The “Affordable Health Care Act” is over a 1000 pages to mask it’s dangerous doses of personal rights violations and gun control is one of the main bullet points.

At my state gun rights group (VCDL) monthly meeting, someone associated to the Doctors for Responsible Gun Ownership gave us all attendees handouts with information on what steps you can take to deal with when your doctor asks you about your guns. I want to share it to as many people as I can. Feel free to pass along this valuable information

Health care professionals misusing their patientstrust to push a political agenda of gun control is called an ethical boundary violation.

You may encounter the question in your health plan‘s standard health appraisal questionnaire. Even though it may not be of your doctor’s making (your doctor may very likely just be going along with the guidelines of his or her gunhating medical organization such as the AAP or ACP), its still part of your permanent medical record. Or your doctor may have a personal prejudice against gun ownership, shaped by her training in medical school or residency. Either way, it is important for people to know some very important facts:

     • Doctors receive absolutely no training about firearm safety, mechanics, or tactics in medical school or residency. They are completely unqualified by their training to advise anyone about guns.

     • Gun ownership is a civil right. A doctors abuse of his position of trust to pressure you to give up that civil right is professionally and morally wrong. In some states it is illegal. You DO NOT have to tolerate it.
     • You as a consumer have great power in the doctor-patient relationship. Do not be afraid to use it.

This does not include cases where a doctor casually talks with you about guns out of a common interest you both may have.

So what can you do when your doctor or your health plan starts asking you about guns in your home?

A range of options is available to you, some sending a more powerful message than others.

      1) Politely refuse to answer the doctor‘s question or the health plans questionnaire item about guns. You can either explain your discomfort with the question or decline to give a reason.

      2) If the gun question(s) appears on your health plan‘s routine health assessment questionnaire, file a formal written complaint with the health plan. Every health plan has a member complaint process, often prescribed by law. Your complaint will be registered and the health plan will respond.

     3) If the health plan responds with the excuse that their questions about your guns are standard medical practice that they must follow, you can take the complaint to the next step-file a written complaint with your state agency that regulates health plans. In California you would follow the complaint procedure on the Department of Managed Health Care website ( dmhc.ca.gov/fileacomplaint.aspx ). Its your right as a patient.

     4) If your doctor persists in asking intrusive questions about guns in your home, you can also file a complaint specifically against him or her with your health plan. Such complaints are taken seriously, and the doctor will be called to account for it. Having one or more complaints about ethical boundary violations on her record will make her think twice about doing it again.

     5) Internet consumer rating sites have created another way doctors can be publicly rated on the basis of service, attitude, and behavior. Some commonly used rating sites are  Yelp. com, Healthgrades.com, Vitals. com, and RateMDs.

     6) Increasingly, doctors’ pay from Medicare and insurance companies is tied to how they score on patient satisfaction surveys. These are often sent randomly to patients, but you can request one to fill out. You can have a powerful impact on a doctors conduct by reporting the doctor‘s unethical questioning about your guns.

     7) If the doctors conduct is especially offensive, you have the right to submit a complaint to the doctor‘s licensing board. This is an agency in your state government that holds the ultimate power of licensure over your doctor. A quick internet search for “medical boardin your state should take you to the official form for filing a complaint. This is a step that should not be taken lightly.

Remember when writing your complaint to be polite. Explain why you find the doctor‘s or health plan‘s behavior unacceptable. Include the powerful points we’ve discussed:

     • Your doctor is professionally unqualified to give expert advice on firearms
     • Your right to own firearms is a civil right that is none of your doctors business
• A doctor misu
sing his or her authority and trust to push a political agenda of gun control is an ethical boundary violation. Such unprofessional conduct is not acceptable.

Your right to own a firearm is enshrined in the Constitution. Don‘t let any doctor or health plan intimidate you into giving up your civil rights.

Harvard University Study Reveals More Guns Equates to Less Crime

girls buying guns

You read it right again. According to a more recent study by Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy, which cites the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the U.S National Academy of Sciences and the United Nations International Study on Firearms Regulation, the more guns a nation has, the less criminal activity.

The study came from the Harvard Journal of Law, that bastion of extreme, Ivy League liberalism. Titled Would Banning Firearms Reduce Murder and Suicide?, the report “found some surprising things.”
It concludes the virtually unpublicized research report by attorney Don B. Kates and Dr. Gary Mauser. But the key is firearms in the hands of private citizens.

Take a look at Russian for example, today violence in Russian is far worse than in the U.S. In the motherland, it’s still really hard for the average Russian to get a concealed carry permit or license, if you didn’t know Russians can now carry guns for self-defense. But in Western Europe things are far worse, with more lone wolf muslim terrorist attacks in France and Belgium are a daily norm these days.

The liberal politicians and the main stream media love to count suicides, gang on gang shootings and police shooting bad guys to pile up their numbers on gun related death.
They also failed to compare per capita, it’s not as simple as country vs country. Compare the population and land size of the UK vs the U.S. That’s a huge difference isn’t it?
Why not compare all of Europe to match the size of the U.S? That will be apples to apples and a fair comparison. Because if compared in such way, Europe murder rate and gun crime will probably be much higher than the U.S and won’t fit their anti-gun agenda.

The “Feel” Good Legislation – Escape Vehicle Ban of 2016

pickup

With the recent mass killings and only a “small” rise of vehicles being used as a weapon, the media, law makers and the public always say we have to do something about the tool that was used. Hardly blaming the person/s. While simultaneously intending to do nothing more vigorously than posting an emotionally charged status on the news and social media.

The usual routine actions that legislators will perform based on the general fear, vague and use the widespread unease to signed another so called “feel-good” piece of legislation that does nothing more to prevent the problem that it supposed to prevent but only hinder law abiding citizens from going about their daily lives.france terror truck

Politicians are all about trying to look good on paper, acting like they care about fixing the problem on the citizens behalf. In reality they are after their own party and the bigger agenda. They don’t care about us, they have no interest in solving terrorist attacks, and general violent criminal activist. We have a lot of laws that need to be enforced!
Want to know more about liberal logic?

Imagine if vehicles are treated like guns. Here is a proposed escape vehicle ban legislation that looks something like this.

114th CONGRESS
2D SESSION
S. BILL 498
To regulate get-away vehicles, to ensure that the right to drive is not unlimited, and for other purposes.

IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES

A BILL

To regulate vehicles commonly used in escapes from the scene of a crime, to ensure that access to such vehicles is not unlimited, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the “Escape Vehicle Ban of 2016”.

SEC. 2. DEFINITIONS.

(a) IN GENERAL.—The terms “get-away vehicle” and “escape vehicle” means any motorized vehicle which—

(A) Is intended for use on established roadways and which—

(B) Will travel at speeds capable of exceeding established speed limits for United States highways and interstates.

(C) May also include any other vehicle, motorized or propelled by other means, which could be used to elude law enforcement after the commission of a crime.

SEC. 3. RESTRICTIONS ON OWNERSHIP AND USE OF ESCAPE VEHICLES BY CERTAIN CLASSES OF INDIVIDUALS

It shall be unlawful for any person or persons who has been previously convicted of a felony offense or has been convicted of a misdemeanor offense punishable by a term of 12 months or longer, or is currently under indictment for such offense to own, operate or transfer to another individual, any vehicle which can be classified by this Act as an Escape Vehicle.

It shall be unlawful for any person to import, sell, manufacture, occupy, possess or operate vehicles which fall under this Act which were manufactured after the date of enactment of said Act.

Vehicles covered under this Act which are currently owned by non-prohibited persons may be owned and operated until such time as they are no longer serviceable.

They may not be transferred to anyone other than those exempted from restriction under this Act.

All vehicles grandfathered under this act must be registered with the Federal Bureau of Investigation within 180 days of the implementation of this Act.

It is further prohibited for any individual or group of individuals who are observed to be loitering outside of facilities such as banks, liquor stores, convenience stores and other facilities which are common targets of violent crimes to occupy vehicles covered by this Act.

SEC. 4. BACKGROUND CHECKS FOR GRANDFATHERED OWNERS OF ESCAPE VEHICLES.

Those individuals who currently own vehicles covered under this act and wish to retain ownership until the end of the vehicle’s serviceable life must consent to a criminal background check conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Said background check must be completed within 180 days of the implementation of this act.

Failure to do so will result in confiscation of the Escape Vehicle without compensation to the individual.

SEC. 5. EXEMPTIONS.

This act shall NOT apply to the following classes of individual:

(A) Police officers whether on or off duty

(B) Officers of the Court

(C) Elected officials

(D) Duly Licensed Automobile Dealers

SEC. 6. PENALTIES.

Those who violate this act shall be subject to the following:

(A) Prohibited Persons found to be in operation of Escape Vehicles are subject to imprisonment for a term not to exceed Ten (10) years and/or a fine not to exceed $10,000.00 dollars.

(B) Non-Prohibited Persons who fail to register their Escape Vehicles with the FBI will be subject to forfeiture of the vehicle and a fine not to exceed $1,000.00 dollars.

(C) Transfer of Escape Vehicles other than to authorized dealers of government agencies shall be punishable by forfeiture of the vehicle and imprisonment for a term not to exceed Two (2) years and/or a fine not to exceed $2,000.00.

SEC. 7. BUYBACK PROGRAM FOR GRANDFATHERED ESCAPE VEHICLES.

Those individuals who choose not to retain ownership of vehicles covered under this Act may elect to transfer ownership of said vehicles an authorized licensed dealer within 180 days of the ratification of this act.

Compensation shall be determined by the dealer, but shall be no less that standard accepted trade in value as evidenced by commonly accepted industry sources.

SEC. 8. SEVERABILITY.

If any provision of this Act, an amendment made by this Act, or the application of such provision or amendment to any person or circumstance is held to be unconstitutional, it is up to the United States Citizen to contest and appeal this act.

All citizens will be considered guilty until proven innocent.

As with similar bills like the Assault Weapon Ban, the Gun Control Acts of 1934, 1968 and 1986, it has been accepted practice of this Legislative Body to enact laws, rules and regulations that deprive United States Citizens of their rights and personal property without due process.

It is further determined that although this Act will do nothing to prevent bank robberies, liquor store robberies, violent assaults and similar crimes, given the evidence that most escapes from such crimes are facilitated by vehicular transportation, this Act is justified because we simply HAVE to do SOMETHING, even when that action will further endanger the American Public and will not accomplish anything worthwhile.

Although this is sarcasm, such fictitious bill  does make a great example to show us how useless many politicians and bureaucrats are all about this days. Taking a perspective look, Isn’t the proposed vehicle legislation absurd? Definitely!

Helpful hints To Drivers When Carrying Concealed & Interacting With LEOs

pulled-over

Loudoun County Sheriff in Virginia puts up some really useful tips on their Facebook page for drivers interacting with the police when pulled over. Most all Loudoun county cops are pro gun and also very open carry friendly based on my experience and many people I know in the area. This is a general guideline, most states don’t have duty to inform.

LCSO provides helpful hints to drivers when carrying concealed handguns.

Tip #1: Know your local and state laws

The State of Virginia does not require you to inform a law enforcement officer you are carrying a concealed handgun, but we ask that you use your best judgement when you are interacting with police. (Code of Virginia 18.2-308.06)

Tip #2: Hands 10 & 2, Dome light on

The moment a law enforcement officer pulls you over s/he can and will notice any movement inside of your vehicle. We ask that you put your front windows down and remain calm with your hands on the steering wheel in plain sight, until the officer says its ok to reach for your license and registration.

Tip #3: Advise the Officer

Our recommendation is to let the officer know that you have a firearm on your person and its location. A phrase that is commonly used is: “Officer, I want you to know that I have a concealed handgun permit and currently have one on my person. How would you like me to proceed?”

Tip #4: Display Identification, move slow

Let the officer advise you when it is okay to reach for your license and registration. Remember move slow and again, before reaching for your driver’s license and permit, advise the officer of the location of your firearm. We ask that you provide your conceal handgun permit at the same time as your identification.

Tip #5: You are not being treated like a criminal

Remember the officer has no idea who you are and with the nature of the job, there are inherent risks associated with it. It’s better to be safe than sorry and because of this, we feel that the above information is relevant to drivers with concealed handguns and concealed handgun permits.

Settling The Doubts About Ammo Stored In Your Oven Car

lockbox

If you are concern about your ammo that’s in your gun and stored securely in your car on a 100+ degree outside weather. Could it have a chance of exploding? Well Let’s take a look at some numbers first.

When we look at a modern round of ammunition, it consists of the following:

  • Smokeless primer incorporating nitrocellulose.
  • A lead projectile.
  • Gunpowder.

There can be other ingredients depending on the specific make and model of a round of ammunition but those are the three primary components. For your reference,

  • Lead melts at 621 °F
  • Nitrocellulose ignites at around 320-338 °F
  • Gunpowder ignites at 801–867 °F.

Surprisingly high temperatures, right?

The hottest place on earth is Death Valley, on July 10 1939 the record recorded temperature on earth was 134 °F. Now imagine the temperature inside of the car, it was probably around 200 °F, well that’s still no even enough to cause your rounds to explode. But if you throw it in to the fire (I don’t recommend this) it will pop.
I would be more concern about the gun’s accessories.

The Lame Duck Obama Pushes His Political Agenda – Orlando Terrorist Attack

Obama Statement on Orlando Gay Nightclub Shooting

It’s very repetitive that Obama and the anti-gun media uses the same crafted words and statements to their game.

Here are some factual responses to his speech.

Obama: We reached no definitive judgement on the precise motivations of the killer.

Reality check: Over several hours before Obama addressed the nation, the FBI and most mainstream media outlets already reported the killer motivation. 29 year old Omar Mateen pledged allegiance to ISIS, that’s right Oscumba, that’s one of the very large fanatic muslim extremist groups. Yet he knows this but held back from spitting “politically incorrect” statements during his speech. Made no mention of radical islamic ideology in his speech. Maybe he doesn’t want to offend his brothers? This is also the month of Ramadan, how coincidentally it can be? Not really. According to the Koran, homosexual is strictly against Islam, and such practice is to be condemn and execute those who are gays. Keep blaming on those few radical muslims, no they are not a few, but a whole lot and growing in numbers by the day thanks to the Obama administration and its failed polices.
omar marteen facebook page

Obama: The shooter targeted a nightclub where people came together.

Fact check: Notice the careful selected words? Shooter, yes he is a shooter, but he could have used the word terrorist. He really hates to use the T word. When it was a suicide bomber, or a gunman who then finish up with a bomb, you usually hear the word terrorist

Obama: The shooter was armed with a handgun and a “very powerful assault rifle.”

Fact check: The jackpot word is used again but actually enhanced. LMAO 😆 , WTF 🙄 is a very powerful assault rifle Obama? I’m confuse here. You mean an AR-10 in full auto? Some 30 caliber and above rifle that shoots exploding rounds in full auto? A 50 BMG rifle maybe? Such words we seen and hear numerous times by democrat politicians to make guns look very scary and evil.
Early in the video I thought he would only give statements based on the facts that were currently out. So far, there is no mention of what type of rifle that was used in this terror attack. He can’t help but to push for more gun control again. 🙁

Obama: This massacre is therefore a further reminder that how easy it is for someone to get their hands on a weapon that lets them shoot people in a school, or a house of worship in a movie theater or in a nightclub.

Fact check: I don’t know that if people are aware of that the fact that no gun control law has ever stop or prevented any type of gun violence and death. Obama doesn’t mention his homey boys in his home town Chicago, the nation’s capital of murder had a 100 percent increase in homicides this year. The year is only half way and the murder rate almost matches the 50 people who died in today’s attack. Not including DC and Baltimore. All three cities run by democrats that have very strict gun control laws. Obviously these politicians don’t care about American lives but desperately trying to shove their gun control agenda which the endgame is to control us.

Facebook has been taking sides with the big government by censoring, deleting post and pages related to firearms and the second amendment. Private local sales of firearms are also prohibit and it’s in their new terms of agreement.
Google has been seen doing similar practices. By manipulating search engine results. SEO towards anti freedom, left wing search results on top. This also applies to their image searches. And recently the unforgettable incident with Youtuber Hickok45.

Transporting and Carrying Firearms With You to Other States

reciprocity-map
As more people are becoming gun owners and start to carry them for personal protection each year, the more important such topic becomes. A lot of people travel by plane or by vehicle across state lines everyday. Let’s say you know (hopefully you should already know by now as a concealed permit holder) all your home state and federal gun laws regarding possessing and carrying, that’s excellent. But if you have to travel, you do want to carry your gun to other states for the same purpose you carry in your home state. How do you find out other states laws, and to go about transporting your gun on the plane?

First, let’s dive in to – how to correctly bring your firearms on airplanes.

  1. Purchase a good hard gun case. I personally recommend a Pelican brand case. They are very durable, not to heavy, sealed which makes them waterproof, it has two holes to insert your padlocks and Pick N Pluck foam. I use a Pelican 1200 case which can easily fit a sub compact to a full size pistol. Pictures below shows a Glock 19 with two magazines, two knives and a flash light. Make sure your firearm and magazines are unloaded, double and triple check it!
Get two padlocks, why? Because if you just lock one end, someone can force the other end open wide enough and steal your valuable contents 😳 . Last thing is to get a cable lock, wire it through the handle of the Pelican case and through the frame inside of your check-in suitcase. Store your carry defensive ammunition in the original manufacture box or a hard box design for ammunition so the cartridges are separated from each other. Then you can just put them anywhere in your suitcase.

    pelican-case2
At the bottom of Pelican 1200 case, I fit a KA-BAR TDI LEO knife & one folding knife before the pistol goes on top.

    pelican-case1
I then place 4 pieces of foam on top of the knives and then place the pistol on top. Follow with the two magazines (1×15 & 1×17 round magazine along with my PowerTac flashlight.

    pelican-case4
I use two Master Locks key combo to secure it.
  2. No firearms, magazines, live ammo, knives are allow on your carry-on baggage. Please check thoroughly and make sure you don’t have any of the above in your carry-on luggage. To many people across the country get arrested and fined each year because they forgot their gun in their carry-on bag. Don’t be that person, don’t make the headlines and shame the majority of responsible gun owners.
  3. Once you enter the airport terminal, walk up to your airline counter and tell them you have a firearm to declare. Don’t say “I have a gun or a weapon,” those two words don’t fly well at airports. Don’t check-in using the self service or have the baggage assistance handle your suitcase that has your firearm.
The airline counter person will print your boarding pass, and ask you if your gun is unloaded. Sometimes they asked what type of gun. Then they will have you sign the firearms unloaded declaration slip, have you open your suitcase and place the slip
    firearms declairation
on top of your firearm hard case inside your suitcase. You will now lock your suitcase. Provide your own locks. Your check-in suitcase now gets handed of to the TSA, make sure you standby until TSA gives you the clear before heading down to the gates.
  4. Long guns. Use a hard rifle case that will go on it’s own and not inside the suitcase. Additional check-in baggage fees may apply depending on airlines.
  5. Check with your airlines firearms polices and TSA, each airlines firearms polices does vary slightly.

The next most important element is to know the gun laws of the state or states you’re traveling to. Know where you can’t carry.
First check the reciprocity agreement between your home state and the state you’re planning to visit. USACarry.com has a really great interactive reciprocity map.
If you MUST travel to a state that denies your constitutional right, then there is no point of bringing your gun in the first place. Unless you can get another out-of-state concealed carry permit from another state that recognizes the state you’re traveling to. I recommend people to have at lease two permits. Example would be one of your home state and one Florida or a Utah permit.

Now you know that the state you’re traveling to has reciprocity with your state. Great! But that doesn’t end there. Know the rest of the gun laws of the state you’re traveling to. Study or remember the places off limits to carrying. Or better to print it out with you just in case you forget.
Are you require to inform the police when pulled over? Does the state you are traveling to have preemption of local cities and counties? Does the “no gun sign” have the force of the law? How about state forest, WMA, state parks and national parks? The use of deadly force in self-defense.
What about open carry? Usually in most states, places off limits to concealed carriers also applies to open carry. With the exception of some states, open carry has more restrictions. As of 2016, in Arizona you need to have a valid concealed carry permit to open or concealed carry in restaurants that serves alcohol.
In Utah, if you don’t have a valid permit, you can’t open carry a round chambered. Silly I say, but that’s their laws.
The Open Carry Forums is a good place to get more information, the folks there are very helpful which they will reference the state codes and are up-to-date with the yearly legislation.

The best place to get all this information is http://www.handgunlaw.us To see the state/s of interest, just put in “/statename.pdf” after the above URL. For example, if you want check out Wyoming, you will enter http://www.handgunlaw.us/wyoming.pdf. or http://www.handgunlaw.us/states/westvirginia.pdf for West Virginia. Handgunlaws.us is very current, accurate and up-to-date on each states’ gun laws. They were one of the first to update Nevada recognizing Virginian’s CHP. They also reference the state law code sections, if you need to double check and reference, you can always go to that state law code website. The other really good option is to ask the states’ grassroots organization, they are very reliable with accurate information.
The NRA ILA also has a list of information, but it’s not as comprehensive as handgunlaw.us. Much more of a summary and bullet point type.
