Is it really called gun “buyback”? Exploring the definition of buyback and its pitfalls

There are many articles and posts out on the internet that dives in to the foolishness of such anti self-defense and anti Second Amendment propaganda programs for the fools who are willing to hand in their alienable rights to Big Daddy for a false sense of security and funds. This article will focus on one small aspect which is the definition of buyback and a summery of this anti-gun tactic.

What is the word buyback?
Taken from the dictionary (dictionary.com and dictionary.cambridge.org) noun
1) The buying of something that one previously sold.
2) Any arrangement to take back something as a condition of a sale, as by a supplier who agrees to purchase its customer’s goods.

Venezuela: A Case Study on Gun Control

Introduction

Citizens disarmed in Venezuela.

At the heart of the divisive issue of gun control is how one reads the Constitution. Many people are of the opinion that the very words of the 2nd Amendment, “shall not be infringed,” speak for themselves as far as the legality of government gun control. While, by definition, the Constitution is a “living document,” some attack this philosophy by reading into the intentions of the framers, taking a spirit-over-letter approach. Regardless, it is important to take a long, hard look at the facts of other nations that have attempted to control civilian gun ownership in order to fully understand the question at hand, and form an opinion that reflects the real goings on in places like Venezuela.

What is going on in Venezuela?

A case study in the result of banning civilian gun ownership is the unrest currently playing out in the nation of Venezuela. President Nicolás Maduro’s socialist state is facing massive backlash from starving, poor citizens living in a nation with inflation rates surpassing 1,300,000 percent. While upset Venezuelans, led by political challenger Juan Guaidó, have attempted to rise up against their oppressive socialist government, they have been met with sharp resistance from Maduro-backed troops, who also happen to be the only people in the nation allowed to possess guns of any kind. These issues in Venezuela are a part of a disturbing pattern of gun control being a tool of oppression. One common comparison drawn is with that of Adolf Hitler’s rule over Nazi Germany, and his support for disarming citizens in order to maximize government control. While Hitler did not, as is often mistakenly thought to be the case, disarm all German citizens, he did create a registry to disarm groups that opposed his political and societal targets, namely Jewish people. In fact, much like Maduro, Hitler weaponized fellow Nazis by allowing them to own guns, setting them against his opponents. While Hitler’s plan involved arming private citizens, and Maduro’s support is coming from already established armed forces, the idea of taking the means of defending against oppression away from the oppressed population is eerily similar.

What To Do When Your Doctor Asks About Your Guns

Doctors and gun controlIt’s seems to be a more frequent occurring that we hear people bringing up conversations about their physician having them fill out a questionnaire in regards to their health care plan asking about guns which has nothing to do with the subject whatsoever. The “Affordable Health Care Act” is over a 1000 pages to mask it’s dangerous doses of personal rights violations and gun control is one of the main bullet points.

At my state gun rights group (VCDL) monthly meeting, someone associated to the Doctors for Responsible Gun Ownership gave us all attendees handouts with information on what steps you can take to deal with when your doctor asks you about your guns. I want to share it to as many people as I can. Feel free to pass along this valuable information

Harvard University Study Reveals More Guns Equates to Less Crime

girls buying guns

You read it right again. According to a more recent study by Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy, which cites the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the U.S National Academy of Sciences and the United Nations International Study on Firearms Regulation, the more guns a nation has, the less criminal activity.

The study came from the Harvard Journal of Law, that bastion of extreme, Ivy League liberalism. Titled Would Banning Firearms Reduce Murder and Suicide?, the report “found some surprising things.”
It concludes the virtually unpublicized research report by attorney Don B. Kates and Dr. Gary Mauser. But the key is firearms in the hands of private citizens. Continue reading “Harvard University Study Reveals More Guns Equates to Less Crime” »

A Few Things To Discuss – Montgomery Co, MD. Shootings Eulalio Tordil

Mongomery mall shooting

Today police finally caught the shooter, a Federal Protective Service employee who shot a woman in a Prince George’s County MD school parking lot Thursday 5 2016. Then again today Friday the 6th he shot others at Montgomery Mall and Aspen Hill grocery store. So far two victims died and other two are injured in the two days shooting by one assailant.
More details on local ABC and WTOP news.

First I want to briefly touch on 3rd party intervention in my previous article What Not To Do As A Concealed Carrier & The Good Samaritan. We as a law-abiding armed citizens have responsibilities to protect ourselves and love ones from violence. Not to use our guns to play police and intervene a 3rd party incident, unless with certain “exceptions” I mentioned  in the article linked above.
What’s worse with this case is that the woman at the school who intervened (the news media called them good Samaritan 😕 ) wasn’t carrying a gun, and foolishly walked up to a derange man with a gun. I can’t believe this people, how naive they are? And of course this occurred in Communist Maryland and on school property. Why walked in to a fire without a fire extinguisher? Such Vindictive Tax Imposed Could Kill the 2nd Amendment

gun-tax
A massive new handgun tax imposed in one U.S. territory could serve as a blueprint for Democrats to ban firearms throughout the country without being shut down by the Constitution.
Late last month, a federal judge ruled unconstitutional a 40-year-old total ban on handguns in the Northern Mariana Islands. In the ruling, the judge declared.

“Because the people of the Commonwealth are part of the American people who have overwhelmingly chosen handguns as their principal means of self-defense, the Second Amendment protects that right here as well.”

Liberals’ obsession with raising taxes saga continues. In response to the judge’s order, the territory’s governing body worked out another way to deny residents 2nd Amendment rights without constitutional interference. The House and Senate lawmakers in the commonwealth quickly passed a harsh control bill which includes a massive $1,000 per pistol excise tax. This is republican governor Ralph Torres. He doesn’t want the poor and the middle-class to rights to defend themselves. Starting to sound like many 3rd world countries and socialist EU nations.
Torres and his legislature show that authoritarian streaks run through both parties.

Higher civilian gun ownership, equates to lower gun violence

guns4

Here are the factual data from the CDC there were 7 firearm-related homicides for every 100,000 Americans in 1993 (see light blue line in chart). By 2013 (most recent year available), the gun homicide rate had fallen by nearly 50% to only 3.6 homicides per 100,000 population.
Contrary to what the left wing mainstream media and gun-control advocates say.

Most people who make such claim that the US gun violence and death surpass countries such as, the UK, Norway or Australia. They all failed to realize that they are comparing over 300 million people vs 25 million. You have to compare per capita. Compare the continental US vs the whole Europe now go figure…

Do You Know the Dangers of “Universal Background Checks”?

Warrentless Door to door searches

Do you really know the full effects of Universal Background Checks and what the government will have to do to enforce it?
They are not just regular background checks. Those UBC will require all gun transfers, even private gifts between friends and family, must go through a FFL gun dealer. It might not seem that malevolent at first, but it is.
Sharing firearms for informal target shooting: Another legitimate activity outlawed by Everytown’s ‘universal background checks’
The United States does not have a crime problem caused by people who borrow a gun for an hour of skeet shooting on somebody’s farm. Yet the Bloomberg laws turn these people into criminals. As with so much of the Bloomberg Trojan horse called “universal background checks,” innocent and law-abiding persons bear substantial burdens, for no benefit in public safety. Obama and comrade’s are finalizing executive action on gun control

kingdumba

Today with more than half (52%) of all Americans opposing stricter gun control laws and more are supporting concealed carry that makes the country safer, King Obama is on his own here. He is doing this without congressional approval 👿  I can’t find any details just yet on what exactly are those illegal unconstitutional laws that he wants to shove down our throats.
But we know they want to pass some type of universal background checks since they mention, closing the gun show loophole.

Hopefully most states and local governments won’t comply and enforce those laws. Unfortunately my state, Virginia has an Obama’s/ Bloomberg’s boy as a governor Terry” McAuliffe who is channeling the elite’s powers. The good news is most of Virginias and the legislative body are opposed of such acts. Thanks to the Virginia Citizens Defense League (which I’m also an active member) are creating awareness and fighting for our 2nd amendment rights in the state of VA and we are doing a great job. http://vcdl.org
